I am a visual artist; make a living in graphic design; paint for fun; have an interest in photography, music, film and art.
Just getting started on this visual blog. Selecting work and adding as it makes sense. It is a project in progress.
Lately, inspiration comes from shadows and shapes in my urban surroundings; distant figures silhouetted against the night lights of the city; the free lines of the scribble and spill of eager painting starts and the general visual sprawl and scrawl of modern life.
I live with my family in the edgy, colorful neighborhood of Strathcona, Vancouver, where there is a seemingly unlimited supply of strangeness and beauty.
